Activities that you can do at home (quarantine-edition)


As an introvert, who spends most of her time at home, I want to share a long list of things that might keep you from dying out of boredom. 
I know everyone is different and some of the things that I'll suggest won't appeal to you, but I still hope that you find this article useful.

1. Netflix and chill For most of you this was probably one of the first ideas that came to your mind. There are in fact a lotof great shows out there that you can watch while staying home. How about making popcorn or getting a bowl of chips (crisps) with a soda or another drink of your choice, tea and cookies, smoothie and cake and start a show? I suggest that you don't binge-watch a show but do other activities as well throughout the day or, at least, swap to a comedy/sitcom, so that you don't risk getting depressed or getting in a bad mood.


2. Eat Sleep Repeat This could be your opportunity to rest and take care of your exhausted body and mind. See it that way. Now you don't have to wake up early anymore to go to work/school (I know this doesn't aply to everyone). Have a nice rest, sleep early and wake up early because that's the best sleep routine for you. Eat healthy, focus on what you eat and how often.



3. Home Exercise A lot of Apps are offering a free trial due to the quarantine. Take this oportunity to download a workout app or perhaps a Yoga app and try it out. Plan your day and if you don't like planning then remind yourself to do many different activities throughout the day and not to repeat the same things over and over. Exercise for half an hour a day before your lunch. With this, you guys can get your ‘raya body’.

4. Learn a new Instrument If you ever wanted to learn an instrument now is the chance! You can order it online and once it arrives, start playing. There are plenty of tutorial videos that give you hints and help you as a beginner. Practise and then learn your favourite song!


5. have family nights, siblings nights with games and movies You are all together in this. Whats the point if everyone hides in their room on their own dying of boredom. Do something together like old times! Get together, laugh, have a good time with a nice show or a game.




6. More You-Time ( time of yourself )Take care of yourself, take the time to relax, heal, put masks on your face, take hot baths or showers, take care of your skin. Have a home spa if you can.
